The astrology of 2025 has been astonishing. Full of promise of profound change yet fiercely testing. Now, at last, a little respite, as two beautiful energy patterns dominate the sky in late 2025.
Jupiter trine Saturn – give it time, it’s gonna be okay
Lean into your soft side as Jupiter romances Saturn in the water signs of Cancer and Pisces. Care about something or someone. A realistic opportunity may arise for restoring hope that a problem will all work out. Provided you give it the time and effort it needs!
Uranus sextile Neptune – breakthroughs from the twilight zone
There is also magic in the air as Uranus, the changemaker, zaps mystical Neptune in an exciting alliance. These are favourable conditions for new ideas and technologies about the nature of consciousness and reality.
To get a feel for what this might mean, think back to the 1990’s when these two planets began a new cycle. Spiritual psychologies, like Jung’s, and the Buddhist practice of mindfulness spread widely throughout Western culture.
Above all else, the internet changed everything, as did the digital technologies that became essential to our lives. We saw into space, with the Hubble telescope, and explored subatomic realms with weird but wonderful ideas like string theory and the holotropic universe.
These changes to our world were just a beginning. More now to come.
The astrology of 2025 and 2026 – is this the dark before the dawn?
As 2025 draws to a close, democracies are failing and more species are extinct. Trust in facts and a shared consensus of reality no longer glue us together. The manosphere and extremist ideologies gain ground in the mainstream. A handful of oligarchs control the world’s financial systems, food resources, health care, and the information we receive, wielding uncontested wealth and political influence.
The world seems a darker place, with nothing better on the horizon.
Yet perhaps these testing times can be imagined as necessary agents for steering us toward an inner journey. And it is here that some connection with the sacred, with the Earth, and with our own bodies, feelings, and imaginations, may shine a little light upon the sometimes lonely path we walk and help us find a way.
Astrology may be one of the tools you use to support your inner journey and find meaning.
As immense forces gather for collective transformation this year and the next, I wonder if these challenges may simply be part of the deal? As our egos fail to get us out of the mess, they, in large part, have created, and we turn instead within, have we found the perfect tools for guiding us through the changes ahead?
What does your heart say?
